Portfolio Center
Portfolio Center (the Portfolio Center menu) has a command bar at the top: type or dictate what you want, and Vestoris plans it, shows you exactly what would change, and does it only when you confirm. Paper trading only: trades are simulated, and nothing here is investment advice.
What you can ask
- Create a model: "Create a model called Dividend Growth: 40% JNJ, KO, PEP and PG, 30% Health Care, 20% Utilities, 10% cash". Symbols are used as you give them; a sector is spread evenly over its five largest securities (by daily volume). If a part is not a symbol or a sector ("large-cap dividend payers"), you are asked which securities you mean.
- Change a model's targets: "Set NVDA to 6% in the Growth model", or its cash or drift tolerance. "Set the drift tolerance of all models to 2%".
- Assign or unassign a model: "Assign the Dividend Growth model to the Income Portfolio" (Admins: it needs the "manage accounts" privilege).
- Account groups: "Create a group called Income accounts with INC-1 and BAL-1".
- Rebalance, with constraints: "Rebalance the growth accounts to their model, no gains over $10k, keep 2% cash".
- Trim or add exposure, what-ifs: "Trim Technology by 3% in the growth accounts"; "What if we add 2% Energy in GRW-A".
- Raise or invest cash: "Raise $250k cash in BAL-1, lowest tax impact"; "Invest the cash in the Income Portfolio, keep 1%".
- Show: "Show the accounts on the Growth model" opens Portfolio Center with just those accounts.
Accounts can be named by code, name, tag ("growth"), group or model, or "all"; only accounts you can see are ever considered.
How it works
- Plan. The AI turns your words into a list of typed actions from the screen's fixed catalogue - never code or a database query. Without the AI, a built-in parser understands the common phrasings above. If anything material is ambiguous you get a question; if it cannot be done from the bar, you are told so plainly.
- Preview. Vestoris resolves each action against your data now: every account or model it touches, the value before and after, what is left out and why (for example "you may view this account but not propose trades for it"), and the consequences.
- Confirm. Nothing happens before you confirm. More than 10 items, anything that cannot be undone, or a total above the firm's approval threshold needs a typed confirmation ("CONFIRM 12").
- Run. Each item goes through the same services as the screens. Trades are never placed from the bar: a rebalance, what-if or cash request becomes a request in the intent pipeline with proposed trades, each pre-checked by compliance; you create the orders there, and orders above the thresholds still need an approver. If the data changed after the preview, nothing runs and you get a new preview.
Every command, plan, preview and result is in the event log; every AI call is in the AI log. A Viewer can ask for answers (such as "show") but not change anything. If the AI is off, the bar still works for the phrasings above, and every screen works as before.
