The detectors
| Check | Finds |
|---|---|
| Stale price | A security whose last close is older than expected. |
| Price jump | A close that moved more than 20% (flagged, not refused). |
| Missing classification | No sector or country. |
| No identifier / Duplicate identifier | Missing or shared ISIN, CUSIP, SEDOL or FIGI. |
| No average volume | Missing average daily volume (needed by liquidity rules and the simulator). |
| Negative cash | An account below zero cash. |
| Inactive security held | A position in a security that is no longer active. |
| Stale FX rate | An FX rate older than expected. |
| Unusual feed volume | A feed file much larger or smaller than usual. |
Run the checks now runs them (they also run on schedule and in the start-of-day chain). An issue stays open while a check sees it and resolves itself when the data is fixed.
The AI's part
The AI writes today's brief and the story of a price jump, and can suggest a sector and country for securities that lack them: the suggestions are staged as a batch you review and apply (or discard). It never changes an issue.
