Help center › Navigator and AI

Navigator, the AI assistant

Ask questions in plain language; Navigator answers only from what you may see, and can only suggest a request for the Intent Pipeline or a command.

On this page

Ask questions in plain language: Which account is furthest from its model? Why was the BA order rejected? What are the largest holdings in the Family Office Trust?

Navigator
An answer from your own accounts, with a suggested pipeline request and command-bar plans.

How to use it

  1. Open Navigator in the menu bar.
  2. Type your question under Your question and press Ask. The conversation stays on the page; Clear the conversation starts again.
  3. When an answer suggests an action, Send to the pipeline starts an Intent Pipeline request, and Open as a plan in Portfolio Center / Trade blotter / Workflow monitor opens that screen's command bar with a preview. Nothing happens until you confirm there.

What it can see

Navigator answers only from data you are entitled to see. This is enforced by what Vestoris sends it: your accounts, their holdings and orders, violations and alerts, and the active rules, with the user-defined values you may see. If you ask about an account you cannot access, it cannot answer, because it never received it.

What it cannot do

It cannot execute, approve, sign off or change anything. It can propose a request for the Intent Pipeline, which then runs every check.

When the AI is off

If your firm switched the AI off (Firm settings) or it is unavailable, Navigator says so; every other screen works with deterministic text. Every question and answer is in the AI interaction log.

Do it with the API

Every action on this screen can also be done by your own systems, under the same permissions. See Authentication to get a token.

Paper trading only: orders and fills in Vestoris are simulated. Nothing here is investment advice.
